In Useme we are aware that the price of a commissioned or performed job can change so we allow the possibility of changing the value of an offer, a deal or an invoice.
You can make some of these changes on your own but for others, you will have to contact us.
How to change the price of an offer
To change the price of the offer that you have posted as the Freelancer, log in to your account and then go to My account → My offers → specific offer → "Edit the offer" button (located in the upper right corner of the page).
After entering a new price, click on the "Post an offer" button. The Employer will be notified that your offer has changed.
How to change the price on a pre-invoice (before paying for a VAT invoice)
It might happen that both parties to a transaction already received a pre-invoice for the deal in Useme but in the course of negotiations or after initial work the price of a given job or service will change.
To edit a pre-invoice or change the price of the deal, message us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We require e-mails from both parties of the deal confirming the new
After we have received the e-mails, we will change the price on the pre-invoice and send a new offer to e-mail addresses of both parties.
How to change the value on a VAT invoice
After the pre-invoice has been paid and the payment booked on our account, a VAT invoice is generated automatically for the amount displayed on the pre-invoice. A VAT invoice is an accounting document a change of which entails certain consequences, so:
- if you want to reduce the price on the VAT invoice, contact us at email@example.com and we will prepare a corrective invoice.
- if you want to increase the price on the VAT invoice, issue a new invoice for the missing part of the remuneration.
