How to send a tax invoice for the finished work
Click the “Invoice a client” from the drop-down menu of the “for freelancer”
Step 1
Provide the client’s email. If we have not sent an invoice to the client before, we will ask you to provide more information to send a tax invoice like company name, address, Tax identification number, and so on. The data will be automatically filled in if we work with this client together before. You cannot edit that information.
Step 2
Choose a job category, provide a title, and a brief description of your project.
You can choose if you would like to transfer the copyright to the client. You can transfer copyright with a license or protocol. You can read more about copyright here.
If you need to divide the work into several milestones, you can click here. You can read more about a contract in several milestones here.
Then insert the value of the work and the deadline to send the payment. The value of the contract is the client’s net amount. We will add the VAT amount to it. You will see the final amount that you will receive.
The payment deadline is the time for the client to pay the pre-invoice. The client will receive a tax invoice once the payment is credited to our accounting system. The default value for both terms is 7 days, but you are free to change it.
For this type of cooperation, the working day will rest automatically and will not affect any process.
Then upload the finished work to this project and click next step. Since we will have a contract with you, we need the finished work even though the client receives them before.
Step 3
Check if all entered data are correct. If so, you can click “Bill my client.” Our administrator will verify the information and send a pre-invoice to your client. We will inform you of each stage via email. The client will receive a tax invoice after paying the pre-invoice. You will receive the remuneration and confirmation of the job completion within 24 hours(on working days)
