How to post a job offer?

You need to become verified before you can start sending offers to the clients.

You also need a complete portfolio or your CV/Résumé and About Me, sections filled out for most job categories. Learn more about your portfolio here.

You can start sending job offers once your freelancer profile shows “authorized.” Go to the Useme marketplace, find a job offer that interests you, and click on “Post a job offer,” then fill necessary details:

• Scope of work
• A brief description of your related experience
• The expected rate
• When you expect to finish the project

You will also need to check if you want a copyright transfer or not.

If the client didn’t give enough details for you to estimate the price, you can offer an approximate value. 

Describe what scope of work the price is for and what other factors can influence the rate. Then you can message the client from Your Offer panel and ask for more details. When you get them, you can edit your offer accordingly.

Will other freelancers check my offer?

Your offer is only visible to you and the client. Other users will only see you posted an offer but not the content of it.

How to estimate the price

You know the worth of your work better than anyone else. :) You can check other freelancers' rates to estimate your own. Remember that the price you put in the offer will be final when you sign a contract with the client. 

Useme tip: The clients like offers with a good price/quality ratio. Don’t try to win with the lowest rate. The quality of your portfolio often influences the clients’ decisions - make your portfolio shine!

How many offers can I post as a freelancer?

There is no limit to the offers you can post. Just remember that the offers should be related to the jobs. We may temporarily block your account if the client marks your offer as spam.
