In Useme, we operate on the basis of single contract jobs and that is why we require, not only, the work is done by a freelancer but also a confirmation from you that the work was performed in accordance with the arrangements. On these grounds, we can pay out the remuneration to the freelancer.
From this article you will find out:
- Account activation
- How to accept the work?
- How to reject the work?
- What will happen if I reject the work?
- What will happen if the Freelancer doesn't deliver work within the agreed period of time?
To accept or reject the freelancer’s work you will need an active account at Useme. If you received a pre-invoice and a tax invoice without first creating an account with Useme, you should activate your profile.
To do this, go to the "Sign up" and enter the e-mail address to which you receive messages from us.
Then click the link: "Forgot the password?". We will send you a link to create a new password that will enable you to log in to the site.
When the chosen freelancer finishes the job and uploads the final version of the work to our service, we will notify you about it in a separate e-mail in which you will find a link to accept the work. You can also accept the work from your account (Dashboard → Deals → specific deal → Receive the work).
You can download the work and review it. You have 7 days to make a decision if you accept or reject the work. The freelancer will receive a separate message about your decision. After the decision period, the work will be accepted automatically and the remuneration will be paid out to the freelancer.
If you have any doubts about the finished work or it's inconsistent with the arrangements of the deal, reject it using the proper button. The freelancer will receive a message about your decision.
Use the contact form in Useme to write to the freelancer and inform them of any necessary corrections that you require for the work to be accepted. When the freelancer improves the work, you will receive its new version for assessment.
Remember that the only grounds for rejecting of said work can be technical deficiencies based on what is described in the commissioned job or arrangements made between you and the freelancer.
The grounds for the rejection of the work do not include esthetic values.
If corrections have been made but the work still does not fulfill the requirements and you do not want to continue cooperation, we will refund the payment made along with a corrective invoice. The deal will be marked as terminated by the freelancer.
If the work is not delivered within the period of time set out in the deal, you can end your cooperation with the freelancer. Report it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will refund your money along with a corrective invoice.
