What are private job invitations?
Have you ever posted a job on the Useme marketplace, knowing there is one freelancer that would do it just right? You either worked with them before or looked through their portfolio and loved what you saw. That happens quite a lot! Now you don’t have to worry about messaging them back and forth or hoping they will notice your post. You can send them a private job invitation! You fill out all the necessary details, just like you would with a regular job but send it to a chosen freelancer. They will be the only ones to see it!
How is this different from a regular job post?
The only difference is that a private job invitation goes to a specific freelancer you choose. It’s not available for anyone else unless you decide to send another job invitation or post it on the marketplace for everyone to see. The details you need to fill out, the contract, and our protection all stay the same.
How to send a private job invitation?
Step one: Go on useme.com/en and hover over the For employers menu, then click on “Find a freelancer.”
Step two: Find the freelancer you’d like to collaborate with.
Step three: Go to their profile and click Invite me to work together! Button.
Step four: You fill out everything precisely as you would in a marketplace: project category, details.
Step five: Click send, and it’s ready!
After that, a freelancer can accept your offer or ask you some questions to figure out the details. If they accept, the contract starts, and you will get asked to pay the deposit. From that moment, everything is precisely the same as in the usual Useme deal.
Useme tip: what you write in the job invitation will become the job description on the contract. It’s our go-to for when freelancer doesn’t do their jobs correctly, and you want to get your money back. Make sure to add as many details as possible.
