When you create a Freelancer profile in Useme, we ask you to provide the data needed to settle the contracts. You can change, add or correct the data so that it corresponds to the actual state.
In this article you will learn:
- How do I change my data or e-mail address on my Freelancer's profile?
- How to enter the Company ID/Tax ID/VAT ID number?
- How can I add tags or new skills to my profile?
To change data, log in to your Freelancer account and go to My account → Edit my data or My account → Edit profile/Change Email.
You can edit the following data:
- Username visible to others
- bank account number
- e-mail address
- personal data
- address of permanent residence/temporary address
If you want to change your Freelancer profile as a natural person to the Freelancer profile as a company, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please remember that any data changes made in the "Freelancer profile" tab will result in the temporary loss of the verified (authorized) Freelancer status until the administrators' review is complete.
We verify Freelancers' accounts systematically during Customer Service Office's working hours.
If there is no place to enter your company ID number, probably you chose a natural person profile. To change it, send a message to email@example.com.
The function of tags (skills) in your profile is to help Employers find suitable Freelancers and to show what you specialize in. Add them to your profile to increase your chances of getting a job in Useme.
To add skills to your profile, log in to your account and go to the "Top categories and skills" tab. Under the list of categories, you can find "My top skills" field where you can enter tags (separated by a comma) that describe your competencies.
If you cannot find a tag that matches your skill, message us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will add a proper tag corresponding to your skill and will notify you about it by e-mail.
