Our system block activities that may be potentially dangerous to users. Please read the following instructions and see what behaviors are consistent with the regulation, and you should follow them for your safety.
Providing contact and billing details outside of Useme
This behavior is inconsistent with our regulations and may result in temporary or permanent blocking of the account. We also receive reports that it was the other party to the contract that persuaded us to provide an external contact or settle outside the service. Remember that this behavior stops you from using the uSafe protected transaction. This may result without receiving the payment for the finished work.
Useme tip: Remember that Useme protected transaction only works if both the billing and contract detailing is done via Useme.
Spam and unsolicited commercial offers
What do we mean by spamming other users?
- Send copy-paste offers
- Recurring bids for jobs of the same amount
- Broadcasting messages with the same content to a huge amount of receivers.
Useme Tip: It is worth investing some time and effort in preparing an offer or the first contact. Nobody likes to talk to the robot and an unrealistic valuation. This behavior discourages customers from contacting you instead of increasing your chances of getting an order.
What else can you get the altered email
Our Users who settle contracts - all you have to do is settle one contract every three months and the alert will not be sent.
The alert system is designed to catch messages from spammers and people who do not comply with Useme's rules. You will also receive a warning email if another user has reported your behavior as suspicious or if we notice another form of breaking the Useme regulations. Remember that by registering an account in Useme, you have accepted our terms and regulation.
Useme tip for freelancers: Remember that you have the right to wait for your pre-invoice to be paid before you start working. You have the right to start working until the client pays the pre-invoice. With this regulation, you will guarantee the payment for the work performed in accordance with the order and minimize the risk associated with the new cooperation.
Useme tip for employers: Your payment stays in our accounting system until you approve the finished work. Freelancers can only receive the payment when they deliver the work on time and meet your requirement. If the work does not comply with the terms and regulations, you can decline the work and receive a refund. Thanks to this, you do not run into the situation, for example, sending a deposit but do not receive the finished work.
What to do if I prefer to talk by phone?
Remember that you make contact by phone at your own risk. In Polish law, a contract concluded verbally is also a contract, but it is extremely difficult to prove any arrangements between the parties to the contract by phone, without witnesses ("word against the word"). When you decide to use the Useme messages system, you get the opportunity to mediate in the dispute with administrators, and the written arrangements in the contact box are indisputable. You can read more about the practices of using Useme here.
